Birds and their eggs have been significant to human society in too numerous to count. Many birds are kept as pets and man’s impact on bird populations is very strong as few species have become extinct. Use this pack to make your pupils aware about the declining numbers of birds. You can set an outdoor activity for your pupils at a nearby park to observe birds with the use of binoculars. Ask them to describe how the birds’ feathers, beaks and feet look like, how tall or short they are, their colours, their names and their feeding habits.
